Swing the ball
The target ball is placed in a triangle. The ball at the top corner is placed on the "ball placement point". The No. 8 ball is located in the center of the triangle. One full-color ball and one colored ball are placed at the bottom and two ends of the triangle respectively. Other target balls are placed at will, but must be close to each other.
Both players can check whether the ball placement is in accordance with the rules, and can ask for correction.
Comparison ball
The match is the first shot used to decide the order of kick-off. The player who wins the match gets the kick-off option. The referee will place the two balls behind the tee line respectively, and the two players will hit the ball at about the same time and make it contact the top library (the short library on the side near the tee point) and return. When the ball stops, the side closer to the bottom library (the short library on the side near the tee line) will win the match.
A foul against a match (a match that fails to win) means that a player hits the ball:
Cross the longitudinal axis of the table and enter the opponent's area
Warehouse without top
Contact the top warehouse more than once
The ball enters the bag or leaves the table
Contact the warehouse edge on both sides or stay at the corner bag mouth and have crossed the bottom warehouse edge line
In case of any of the following situations, the player shall compare the ball again:
A player hits the ball significantly later than his opponent
The referee cannot judge which ball is closer to the base when the ball is still
Both sides have fouled the ball
Kick off
At the kick-off, the kick-off party must place the main ball behind the kick-off line, and after hitting the ball, at least one target ball must enter the bag or four target balls must touch the bank.
The violator is a kick-off foul, and his opponent can make the following choices:
Get free shot right behind the line
The player who puts the ball again and starts the ball by himself or asks the player who started the ball to start the ball again; or
Accept the existing situation of the table and continue to hit the ball (except for the main ball coming out or entering the bag)
In case of any other foul during kick-off, the opponent cannot choose to restart the kick-off
When kick-off, the No. 8 ball is put into the bag. The original kick-off party can reset the No. 8 ball to the ball placement point and continue to hit the ball under the existing conditions on the table
When the kick-off, No. 8 ball goes into the bag with a foul. The opponent can choose:
Take out the No. 8 ball and reset it to the ball placement point, and obtain the free shot right behind the line
Accept the positions of all balls on the table and continue to hit the ball (except when the main ball comes out or goes into the bag)
Batting
1. After a player hits the ball, the first ball to be touched by the cue ball must be the target ball of the group selected by him. If all the target balls of the group have been put into the bag, he shall hit the No. 8 ball first.
2. After hitting the ball, if there is no target ball in the bag, at least one ball must touch the bank (including the main ball).
3. After the player hits the ball, the target ball and the cue ball that are not in the bag must stay on the table. If any target ball jumps off the table, it will be deemed as reasonable disappearance and will not be reset to the table.
4. During the stroke (including before and after the stroke), no part of the batter's body (including clothing), equipment (including the club body, frame, chocolate, etc.) other than the club head shall touch any ball on the table.
5. During a stroke, the club head shall not touch the main ball more than twice (including twice).
Penalties for violation of the above rules: the other party has the right to free play.
All violations must be judged before the next stroke, otherwise it will be deemed that no violations have occurred.
Stick ball
1. When the main ball is close to the target ball to be hit on the table, the player must make the target ball move after hitting the main ball, and there is no limit to the direction of the stroke, but the stroke action must be obvious.
2. When the target ball is close to the warehouse edge, after the main ball hits the target ball, the target ball must touch the warehouse edge again after leaving the warehouse edge or another ball (including the main ball) touches the warehouse edge or a target ball enters the bag.
Penalties for violation of the above rules: the other party has the right to free play.
Jump ball
1. Players can hit the main ball and jump over other target balls, and legally hit the target ball of their own team.
2. When jumping, the batter can only hit the area above 1/2 of the main ball surface with the club head.
Penalties for violation of the above rules: the other party has the right to free play.
foul
If a player commits a foul, his opponent gets the free shot.
The following are the general fouls in the game:
The cue ball enters the bag or leaves the table
The cue ball touches the non target ball first
Hit when there is a ball on the table and it is not completely still
Players' feet leave the ground at the same time when they hit the ball
Target ball leaves the table
Foul of touching the ball
Double Hit
Push rod
Hit foul after kick-off line
Hit No. 8 ball
When the selected player hits the No. 8 ball, as long as the No. 8 ball does not enter the bag and does not jump off the table, even if the foul or the main ball enters the bag, he will not lose the game. At this time, the opponent has the right to hit freely.
Ball group confusion
When the team has determined that if a player wrongly strikes the ball in the other team, the foul must be pronounced before he makes the next stroke. When any player or referee realizes that the team has been wrongly exchanged by both parties, the game will be immediately stopped and the original kick-off player will restart the kick-off.
Transmission bureau
A player who violates the following rules will lose the game:
Hit the No. 8 ball and make a foul at the same time (except for the kickoff)
Players hit the last target ball of the group into the pocket and hit the No. 8 ball at the same time
Hit No. 8 ball off the table
Players hit the No. 8 ball into the bag before hitting all their target balls into the bag
deadlock
If the referee judges that there is or may be a deadlock, he shall propose that the player restart the ball. However, if a player refuses, the referee will allow the game to continue for a period of time. Generally speaking, the referee will let each side play three more strokes or make another decision according to their judgment. After that, if the deadlock is still not opened, the referee will declare the deadlock and place the ball to restart the game. The original kick-off player will restart the game, and the original order of hitting will not be changed.
